A Description of an Event

My grandmother’s birthday party

Last September, we had a big party to celebrate my grandmother’s sixtieth 

birthday anniversary.

 We organized the party at her house without her knowledge. We invited all 

the family and lots of my grandparents’ friends. First people started coming. 
Everything was dark-no lights. When all of ghosts came my grandma came back 
from work and at that moment we switched on a great many lights everywhere 
you can imagine. We surprised her. She was really very happy. Then my cousins - 
Dimitar and Anita, my sister Alexandra and I served to everybody drinks. After 
that my oldest cousin Dimitar lit the barbecue and few minutes later we started 
serving the dinner. My sister spent all the rest of that evening taking photos. 
Dimitar, Anita, Alexandra and I were the waiters that night but we were happy 
because our lovely grandmamma was so happy. Everybody also was pleased. It 
was the first day of my life in which fourth of us didn’t make scolding with 
someone of us.

But, suddenly, one of the neighbors (who we didn’t invite because he is so 

rude) came to complain about the noise because the party went on until really 
late, but we were sorry for him and asked him to stay so that after a second I 
gave him a drink and dinner.

Finally, when the party completed the house was a bit of a mess. Despite my 

parents, grandparents, aunt and uncle went to sleep, my cousins, my sister and I 
started cleaning the garden. In the morning everybody was surprised that we had 
put the house in order. Then we started opening the presents. They were ever so 
many.

All in all, it was the biggest and the most amazing birthday party that I have 

ever gone. I loved the atmosphere and I think that our organization was brilliant.
